Organizational Leadership that includes workshops, coaching, consultations for clients in public and private sectors in cultural transformation. Our ethical leadership training drives results and empowers leaders with the tools and resources to grow from insight to action to observable improved performance.

Racial Equity and Justice Training foster spaces where individuals and organizations can be vulnerable and learn together. WEFA designs workshops that bring together practitioners from different fields to engage in meaningful dialogue about race and racism with mindfulness and restorative practices that promote presence, wellness, and self-compassion for sustainable equity work.

WEFA conducts seminars, workshops, and retreats on spirituality, ethical, and leadership through the lens of Howard Washington Thurman (1899-1981), a leading figure in twentieth-century American religious and cultural life. The dream of community, or “the search for common ground,” was the defining motif of Thurman’s life and thought. His vision of the kinship of all life, born out of the particularity of his struggles, propelled him into the mainstream as a distinctive interpreter of the individual’s role in working for an equitable and just democratic society.

HTI seminars and workshops are offered virtually and in person. Thurman believed that the future of democratic life hinged on the creation of what he called “apostles of sensitiveness, small groups of individuals, who would need to work from the ground up to ensure that America lived up to its political and spiritual potential.”

WEFA's workshops on Spirituality, Ethics, and Leadership are deeply influenced by the teachings of Howard Washington Thurman, focusing on his life's theme of community and "the search for common ground." By integrating Thurman's vision of life's interconnectedness and his advocacy for a just democratic society, our workshops, available both online and in person, aim to inspire participants. These sessions are designed to echo Thurman's call for "apostles of sensitiveness," encouraging the formation of small, dedicated groups committed to fostering ethical leadership and societal change, thereby ensuring America fulfills its political and spiritual promise.
