Our pedagogy is based on experiences and utilizes an action-reflection model. Because most of our programming is short, as compared to traditional semester-long coursework, each training session immerses participants in intense experiences and reflection that challenge entrenched belief systems and develops foundational ethical leadership skills.
The residential training program requires 24-hr engagement and is designed for implementation on campuses or recreational sites, where the environment is particularly contemplative and residential facilities are available.
The training program employs a “train-the-trainer” model, wherein certified facilitators train individuals within the client group (e.g., executives, teachers, youth development professionals, religious groups). Post-training, these individuals are allowed to serve as (1) Peer Leaders and (2) ELT consultants to ensure that Ethical Leadership principles and practices are institutionalized, monitored for quality control on the client site.
Along with the WEFA Ethical Leadership Online Course, workbooks and facilitator guides will be available as curricular support for training exercises.
