Kenneth Lay –Mini Bio

Kenneth Lay blends deep organizational leadership experience with a coaching approach to consulting that drives effective and ethical results. He excels at helping clients understand what is beneath the surface and perhaps getting in the way of reaching their goals. He is respected for asking the right question at the right time, knowing when to challenge the status quo, and when to have a private conversation. People are drawn to Ken because he helps them get the job done, learn from it, and have fun in the process.

Ken is the President & Founder of Change Leadership, LLC and Managing Partner of The Center for Resilience. He specializes in executive coaching and strategic business consulting for individuals, corporations, and nonprofit organizations in building strategies and resiliency to meet the ever-increasing challenges of leadership. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor teaching Business Strategy at the undergraduate and graduate levels at the University of Central Florida. Prior to establishing Change Leadership LLC, Ken was Executive Vice President at Citizens Bank, as the Chief Technology Officer for the Commercial Bank, and later as Chief of Staff for Citizens Business Services, which included technology, operations, supply chain, property, security, and risk. Previously, he held executive positions at IBM, JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America and Secretary of Revenue for North Carolina. Ken earned an MA in Social & Organizational Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a BBA from the University of Notre Dame. Ken is an ICF Certified Executive Coach and a Senior Fellow, Human Capital with The Conference Board. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Embrace Families.
