Cristina H–Mini Bio

Cristina is a clinical social worker and advocate who is passionate about social justice and the dismantling of oppressive systems. Her scope of experience pursuing justice and healing spans from an individual level to local, state and federal levels, giving her a unique perspective on the interconnectedness of all movements towards liberation. Throughout her career she has built curricula, led workshops, taught workforce-development classes, and facilitated support and discussion groups. She has provided counseling and social support for asylum seekers, trafficking survivors, and domestic violence survivors. In her hometown of San Diego, she worked as an interfaith community organizer for economic justice, advocating for worker and immigrant rights. She is a trained artist and graphic designer and has experience working as a social media manager, fundraiser, and event planner. She received her MDiv and MSW from Boston University (2021, 2020), and a B.A. from Seattle Pacific University in 2013.
